Jacco Wielhouwer is professor in economics of accounting and tax at the VU University Amsterdam. He studied Econometrics (OR) at Tilburg University at which he got his PhD in Operations Research. 

Next to parttime academic activities, he held several senior (management) positions in financial industry (ING) and financial regulation (AFM).
