Katharina Cepa is Assistant Professor in Collaboration for Digital Innovation at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, School of Business and Economics.
Katharina completed her doctoral degree at Aalto University, School of Business in Helsinki, Finland. Before joining Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam she was Lecturer in Digital Strategy at Lancaster University Management School, England. She regularly presents her work at the Academy of Management, the European Academy of Management, and the European Group for Organizational Studies conferences.
Research
Her research explores how the use of digital real-time data technologies in (inter-)organizational processes affects the management and strategy of organizations. Situated within the fields of strategic management and organization theory, her research interests include technology-induced transparency, digitally enabled and enhanced forms of organization, innovation, and collaboration, as well as data-driven strategy and management.
