Kirstin Wacker is a PhD candidate at VU Amsterdam. She graduated from the Tinbergen Institute in 2019. Previously, she obtained a bachelors in Economics from Lancaster University and a masters in Finance from the University of Cambridge. Her research interests focus on empirical banking specifically the effect of central bank policies on banks and the secondary effects on other entities e.g. households.
