Teaching

For the School of Theology  at Foundation Academy of Amsterdam I am the academic dean and lecturer in several subjects. The focus group of this school are people with a migrant background who live in (the area of) Amsterdam. 

Research

I am a PhD candidate of the Faculty of Theology and Religion within the field of practical theology. My research topic is: Gender roles within the leadership of the Dutch Evangelical Movement.

Education

In my Master of Theology I specialized in Pentecostalism with a focus on African Pentecostalism. Resulting from this, I have lectured 6 years on history and theology of Pentecostalism at the level of University of Applied Science and I will give the BA course Pentecostalization of the Reformed and Evangelical Tradition in the HBCRET minor 2021-2022.

Research

Connected to my research, I am  the current coordinator of the Religion and Gender Network in the Netherlands (REGENN) which connects scholars of religious studies and theology whose research focuses on issues relating to religion and gender, race/ethnicity, sexuality, age, class, etc. More information: www.regenn.nl
