Lea Echelmeyer is a PhD candidate, supervised by Frank Weerman (NSCR), Anne-Marie Slotboom (VU) and Harrie Jonkman (Verwey-Jonker Instituut). In a longitudinal study funded by the NRO, she investigates the role of (early) identity formation within radicalization processes and citizinship education. Lea has a research master's degree in Social Psychology (VU) and previously worked as a research assistant and data analyst.
