Research

Workplace conflict is common and not necessarily detrimental. To better understand its course and outcome, we focus on conflict personalization: the negative affective and cognitive reaction to the perception of a threat/danger to the self. This will help staff and organizations to limit the negative effects and at the same time enjoy the benefits of conflict at work. For our research we collect qualitative and quantitative data to firstly understand what conflict personalization is, and subsequently apply our definition and measurement instrument to empirically study conflict personalization at work.
