Liliana Capinha graduated with a Bachelor of Human Biology from the University of Evora, Portugal in 2013. She continued her studies with a MSc in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine at the NOVA University of Lisbon. Lisbon (IPO-Lisboa), Portugal. During this time, her work was focused on the interplay between RAC1b and Sodium Iodide Symporter expression in thyroid and breast cancers. In 2018, she joined the Molecular and Computational Toxicology division of the Free University, Amsterdam, under the supervision of Prof. Paul Jennings. Liliana is working on integrating kinetics and dynamics in human liver and renal in vitro models, to allow prediction of toxicity. The project is part of the EUToxRisk project.
