Research

My research falls at the intersection of AI, interaction design, ethics, and social and behavioural psychology. Through critical evaluations of developing AI and interaction design paradigms, a prominent goal of my work is to steer research trajectories such that technologies treat people respectfully—supporting their autonomy and capacities to thrive, while minimising technological dependence. I am also interested more broadly in responsible innovation practices for promoting diversity, equality and sustainability.

My background spans computer science, the humanities and the social sciences, especially focusing on human-centred computing, LLM alignment & evaluation, behaviour change, computational linguistics, and philosophy of cognition.
