Assistant Professor Anthropology of Religion and Research Position Charismatic and Pentecostal Christianity at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies. Trained as a cultural anthropologist and theologian I intergrate empirical research and theological reflection in my research among evangelicals and charismatic-Pentecostal groups and movements in The Netherlands. My current research focusses on the expansion of Pentecostal megachurch networks in Amsterdam and New York City.

Next to my role as researcher I coordinate the Master program Religion and Media.
