Mark Lijesen (1969) graduated in Economics in 1993 from Erasmus University Rotterdam and worked at the Insitute for Reaearch on Public Expenditure, Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis (CPB) and Netherlands Institute for Transport Policy Analysis (KiM). Mark obtained his PhD in 2004 at the VU University Amsterdam, department of Spatial Economics. He started working at this department from 2005.
