Nadia Bij de Vaate is a PhD Candidate at the department of Communication Science. She is currently working on a PhD project called: 'Protean Powers to Empower the self?' supervised by Jolanda Veldhuis, Elly Konijn (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).

This project is funded by a NWO Research Talent Grant.
