Personal information

Born and raised in Spain, my journey in the scientific field began with a degree in Biomedical Sciences in Barcelona. My interest in the genetics of complex traits then took me to Amsterdam, where I completed a master's program in "Genes in Behavior and Health." This opportunity paved the way for my current pursuit—a PhD in the multi-omics of wellbeing.

Research

My PhD research aims to unravel the intricate interplay among various biological layers—genetics, epigenetics, transcripts, and metabolites—and their collective influence on wellbeing. Specifically, I am investigating how these interactions shape an individual's happiness. Where better than in The Netherlands?, known for its high happiness index.

Beyond my primary project, I am deeply fascinated by the connection between artistic and creative individuals and neurodivergence. I am keen on exploring the relationships between these two intriguing groups.
