Personal information

Dr. Oli Mihalache holds a part-time appointment at VU Amsterdam where he coordinates the course International Consulting Project. Oli obtained a bachelor's degree in Commerce and Finance from University of Toronto (2006) and MPhil and PhD in Strategic Management degrees from Erasmus University Rotterdam (2009 & 2012). Dr. Oli Mihalache lived in Romania, Canada, and Netherlands. He enjoys bringing the insights of his research to his classroom and companies. 

Research

His research focuses on trying to understand how companies transform themselves in an increasingly global and digital world. His research is published top academic outlets such as Decision Sciences, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Strategic Management Journal.

Oli is guest editor for the special issue on "Strategizing in the Digital World" at Long Range Planning and acted as Associate Editor for European Management Review (2016-2018) and was guest editor for Management and Organization Review. Oli also reviews on an ad-hoc basis for Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, and Organization Studies.
