Oskar Bronsgeest is lecturer in management and consulting at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (SBE). He studied automotive engineering (BSc) and received a MSc degree in Management from Nyenrode Business University. He worked as management consultant, then some years as MD of a large car dealership. In 2005 he became owner of W&D consultants b.v. In 2017 he started his own consultancy What About Change with a focus on organizational change and interim management. He frequently contributes to the professional debates about automotive and organizational change. He is a Certified Management Consultant and member of the Ooa (Dutch institute of MC). In 2013 he started as external part-time PhD candidate. His research in the field of organizational change focusses on the concepts of employee and stakeholder participation (ESP). He explores the beneficial role of EP with special attention for the timelines and roles of change stakeholders, and the timing and kinds of EP in the context of planned organizational change. In 2017 he became a part-time lecturer M&O and thesis-supervisor (MC specialization).
In 2013 he started as external (part-time) PhD candidate at ABRI. His research in the field of organisational change focusses on the concept of employee participation (EP). He explores the beneficial role of EP with special attention for the timelines and roles of change stakeholders (management, employees), the timing of EP and the kinds of EP in the context of planned change. Since 2018 he became an internal PhD candidate (60%) and lecturer (40%).
Since 2016 he is thesis-supervisor (specialization Management Consultancy) and since 2017 he is a part-time lecturer (Organisational Development and Change, Academic Skills, Organization Theory) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a lecturer M&O at Nyenrode Business University.
