    Piero Morseletto is a PhD researcher at the Department of Environmental Policy Analysis of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM), Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He holds a MPhil in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge and a BS + MS in Economics from the University of Trento. He also conducted study and research activity at University of Virginia, Jochi Daigaku, UC Berkeley, and University of Milan.

    His PhD research focuses on decision-making, specifically on targets as effective instruments for framing solutions to environmental problems. In his inquiry he analyses targets through the lens of climate change, nitrogen pollution, and circular economy.

    Before IVM, Piero worked in the business (corporate and consultancy) and in the supranational sector (EU and UN system).
