Personal information

In my PhD project I am researching the drivers and consequences of arctic-boreal wildfires in a warming climate. For my research I collect field data and combine it with satellite imagery to study the impact of climate warming on boreal ecosystems and fire regimes in North America and Eurasia. I have a strong interest in the use of remote sensing for disentangling effects of climate change and disturbances on forests.
