Sandor Loeffen (1979) is team leader of the legislative advice unit, Analysis and Research Department, Netherlands House of Representatives. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research interests include parliamentary studies, democratic legitimacy and comparative constitutional law. He holds master's degrees in Law and American Studies from Radboud University and a Ph.D. degree in Law from Maastricht University. He was a visiting student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA) and the London School of Economics (UK). He has also been a visiting researcher at Georgetown University (USA).
