Personal information

PhD Candidate at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. For my PhD I have conducted a randomized trial (the FreqMech study) that investigated whether twice-weekly sessions compared to once-weekly sessions of CBT and IPT for depression lead to better depressive outcomes. Besides, I focus on investigating the mechanisms of change in CBT and IPT for depression both using data from the RCT and by conducting lab experiments that isolate therapeutic procedures for depression to find out its direct effects on processes and outcome. I am also very interested in the (moderating) role of learning processes and learning capacity in the effects of treatments for depression.

Expected promotion date: fall 2019

Promotors: prof. dr. M.J.H. Huibers & prof. dr. P. Cuijpers
