Personal information
Saul Basurto joined our department to work on the BREATHE project. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in the UK and obtained a PhD degree in Economics.
As part of his PhD, he investigated the potential effects of climate change on agriculture in Mexico. Before that, he obtained a MSc degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Birmingham and a BA degree in Economics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
Research
His research interests include environmental economics, natural resource economics, econometrics and sustainable development.
