dr. Shiko Ben-Menahem

Shiko M. Ben-​Menahem is Associate Professor of Technology and Innovation Management at the Organization Theory group of the Management & Organization Department, School of Business and Economics, VU Amsterdam. Shiko habilitated at the Chair of Strategic Management and Innovation, ETH Zurich, and was an Adjunct Associate Professor at NYU Stern School of Business, Department of Technology, Operations, and Statistics. He obtained his Ph.D. at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

His research on digital technology and innovation processes in industries encompassing healthcare, medical devices, and life sciences has appeared in academic journals including Academy of Management Journal, Nature Biomedical Engineering, Academy of Management Discoveries, Research Policy, MIT Sloan Management Review, California Management Review, BMJ Open, and Long Range Planning. 

Shiko is an Associate Editor of Academy of Management Discoveries, and former Special Issue Editor for Research Policy and Associate Editor of European Management Journal. Next to his acadamic activities, Shiko is the Research Director of The Singularity Group, an investment advisory firm where he leads the Singularity Think Tank, a global community of technology experts.
