Research

My research is focused on understanding differences between autistic and non-autistic individuals (positive and negative), to increase our understanding of both conditions. I (co)founded and direct the Netherlands Autism Register (NAR), www.nederlandsautismeregister.nl, a large longitudinal cohort of autistic individuals. Our aim is to increase mutual understanding and improve support where needed.
