Dr. Srecko Koralija is an Assistant Professor of Theology and Leadership at the department of Management and Organisation (School of Business and Economics). He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge (Divinity Faculty) where he was a Vice-Chancellor's Scholar. His PhD thesis focused on the linguistic and corpus-based relationship between different versions of ancient translations of biblical texts in the wider socio-cultural context. He has a strong understanding of various research methods and is a passionate polyglot mastering several ancient and modern languages.

Hij heeft een PhD behaald aan de Cambridge University (Divinity Faculty) waar hij Vice-Chancellor’s Scholar was. Zijn PhD-thesis onderzocht de taalkundige en corpus-gebaseerde relatie tussen diverse versies van oude Bijbelvertalingen in de bredere socio-culturele context. Hij is goed onderlegd in verschillende onderzoeksmethoden. Hij is ook een gepassioneerd polyglot met kennis van diverse oude en moderne talen.]
Research interests include: the role of humanities in leadership development, the impact of narrative on motivation in leadership, faith-based perspectives in leadership, bridging classical literary research and contemporary organizational studies, ethical frameworks and their influence on decision-making
He leads the interdisciplinary research project 'Educating moral leadership grounded in theology'. This is a joint project of the School of Business and Economics (VU) and Faculty of Religion and Theology (VU). It explores how classical texts like Bible can be formative to moral leadership in business, organisations and educational institutions. It intends to establish scientific analogies between research of classical texts and the field of organizational studies. The project intends to lead to new forms of understanding leadership, educational material, and transform educational approaches.
Srecko works on the project with Prof. Elco van Burg, dr. Omar Solinger, and Prof. Willem van Peursen.
