Personal information

Steven is a PhD candidate in political science and a junior lecturer for the VU’s Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) BSc program. He is interested in mixed-method and interdisciplinary research, and in how events from the (distant) past influence political attitudes and behaviors in the present day. His current research uses quantitative and qualitative methods to investigate World War II’s influence on 21st-century, far-right political support in the Netherlands.
