Suzanne de Jong is lecturer and researcher at the Criminal Law and Criminology department, Faculty of Law. She obtained her BSc in Criminology at Leiden University and her MSc in 'Opsporingscriminologie' (cum laude) at VU Amsterdam. She did an internship at RIEC where she researched youth in drug-related crime, before starting as a researcher/lecturer at VU Amsterdam in 2021. She teaches mostly in the BSc programme Criminology
