Tabitha van Krimpen is a PhD researcher and teacher at the Department of Management and Organization at the School of Business and Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and also at the Protestant Theological University in Utrecht. In November 2023, she started a 4-year PhD project on moral leadership, moral courage and calling in a Joint Doctorate construction where both universities collaborate (50/50). The PhD project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Petruschka Schaafsma (PThU) and Dr. Omar Solinger (VU).
In 2021, Tabitha obtained her Bachelor's in Business Administration at the Radboud University, Nijmegen (NL). She also obtained her Bachelor's in Theology (Cum Laude) at the Radboud University in the same year. During her Bachelor's education, she also successfully completed the Honours Programme from the School of Management at Radboud University. In 2021, Tabitha obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Administration – Leadership and Change Management at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
She was the ‘Jonge Theoloog des Vaderlands 2021-22’ (Young Theologian of the Year) and with this role was the ambassador of theology in the public debate for a year. In June 2023, her first book was published, ‘Bottom-up Kerk: zijn waar de twintigers zijn’ (Bottom-up Church: Being where the young people are) at KokBoekencentrum (2e druk).

Tabitha teaches Bachelor-level courses, such as ‘Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour’ and ‘Strategy’. Moreover, Tabitha supervises Bachelor thesis students.
