Personal information

Tammie van Biemen (1993) has obtained a bachelors (2017) and masters (2018) degree both in Human Movement Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and a bachelors degree (2015) in Social Sciences at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. She is currently involved as a PhD-student in a project in the on-field gaze behavior of football referees, executed in coordination with the Royal Dutch Football Association. 

Research

Research interests: sport psychology, performance, referees/officials 

Tammie is currently working on a project called "On-field gaze behavior of football referees". Therefore she will be analyzing the visual search behavior of referees of different skill levels and in different situations, such as open play foul situations. Insight in the on-field visual search behavior can potentially lead to new training tools to enhance referee performances on field.
