I’m very interested in, what moves individuals here: how they think, act, develop, and give meaning to their professional life in the organisational context. I have a long-standing interest in exploring writing and storytelling as it relates to both organisations and the writing of organisations studies. Informed by the interventions of poststructuralism in organisation studies, my research in this area has explored narrative structures. While my work can be located in a ‘critical’ tradition, it is my goal to perform an affirmative critique that avoids ‘finger pointing’ and ‘naysaying’ in favour of a kind of positive cynicism for the possibilities for more ethically alive ways of working in, and studying, organisations.
I'm affiliated as a Business Innovation Coach with the European Union's project ‘CoachCom2020’, as a Honorary Fellow with the Business School of the University of Leicester (UK), as an Expert Learning Partner at IMD Business School (CH), as an Associate with de Baak Institute for Leadership and Entrepreneurship (NL), and as a member of the Knowledge4Innovation platform (EU).
