Personal profile

Personal information

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Social and Cultural Anthropology working on the infra-demos research project that seeks to critically examine the relation between infrastructures, democracy, and participation. I received my PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of St Andrews in 2012.

My work has largely focused on public space, governance, imagination, waste, infrastructure, and practices of socio-political mobilization and contestation.

My current research examines the politics of infrastructures in times of crisis in Greece. I am particularly interested in how modes of governance and forms of contestation and participation have been emerging around infrastructures.
