Personal information

Yujing Ma is a PhD student at the Department of Spatial Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Her current research focuses on Urban Ecosystem Services and implications for Urban Planning and Design. She is conducting her research under the supervision of Prof. Henk Scholten and Dr. Eric Koomen.

Prior to joining the group, Yujing finished her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Peking University, specializing in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture and Ecosystem Services. Her MSc thesis is titled “Assessment of Recreational Ecosystem Services in Urban Areas” for which she conducted field work in Beijing. For her bachelor she studied Urban Planning at Southwest University, China.
