Description

"Science communication of the future: Crafting a skillset in the age of AI"

The rapid development of generative AI and other digital technologies is changing the field of science communication. As an educator, I'm curious to know how we can best prepare our students for their future careers. Scientific skills that currently take years to develop - such as academic writing, data analysis, and mastery of the English language - might require less time to learn, or become less valued, in the future. Which skills will remain relevant, and which need to be “future-proofed”? How can we adjust the curriculum so that our students enter the workforce with a cutting-edge skillset?
