In this collaborative project between Dutch (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Section Developmental Psychology & Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences – Section Urban Talent) and Israeli (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Dept. Psychology) research teams, we aim to study a) whether (evidence-based) interventions aimed at improving children’s relationships with teachers and peers can decrease stress and stress-related problems in early elementary school children, and b) whether this beneficial intervention effect is most profound for children living in a highly stressful environment.
