In this research we will build a database of EU Member States’ relevant legislation (and jurisprudence) on the prosecution of core international crimes. This data will be used to conduct a comparative analysis that would allow us to distil any critical differences in States’ definitions of these crimes. This information would then be used to examine to what extent those variations can hinder the cooperation regime established under the European Arrest Warrant. Research funding awarded of € 2820.
