Discriminatory Micro-portraits of Muslims in Political Coverage

In this project, we investigate whether the media are portraying Muslims in a stereotypical manner using micro-portrait extraction, a method developed by Antske Fokkens as part of her Reading Between the Lines Project. The project is a collaboration between communication scientists Nel Ruigrok and Wouter van Atteveldt and Language Framing expert Sarah Gagestein.
