Description
My ongoing research tackles this question by rethinking accounting and control in hospitals and other care providers. I explore granular cost measurement (using TDABC and other cost accounting methods), the behavioral impact of performance systems, and how performance and cost information can improve care, efficiency, and even staff wellbeing. Together, my research shows that accounting and control isn’t just about numbers—it’s about shaping smarter, fairer decisions in complex healthcare environments.
