Marinetti and Futurism: a manifesto for a new world

For the exhibition 'Italian Futurism' in Rijksmuseum Twenthe, together with Jorg Hempenius I created a scent discplay of four futurist scents that were either artistic or political and that were part of my PhD-research and manuscript 'Smelling Time - the Olfactory Dimension of Futurism'. furthermore I wrote the texts for this olfactory display and contributed to the audioguide.

Smell was connected to a great deal of disciplines exercised by the Futurists. It was key to their politcal and artistic identity.
