Description
Funded by NUFFIC, the goal for this project is to train the Election Commission officials in tasks of analyzing and visualizing the new voting districts they defined using professional geographic information system (GIS) software. There was a 2 week training of GIS fundaments in the Netherlands which equipped the participants with knowledge on the use of GIS for creating and analyzing borders and a second mission in Bhutan to train the participants in solving challenges they face when applying the newly acquired knowledge in their work.
