Δημοκρατία Under Construction: Από τους δρόμους στις πλατείες: Εμπειρίες, Αναλύσεις, Ντοκουμέντα

This book, written almost in the heat of the events, documents the explosion of the squares occupation movement in the summer of 2011 in Greece. It is written by protagonists of this movement, from new activists politicized during this movement to old ones and to academics who actively were involved in the processes of direct democracy in the squares. The first part regards experiences of personal and collective transformation in the social, cultural and political fields, given from a personal perspective. The second one is comprised by discussion and analyses of the various aspects and challenges poised by this multifarious and heterogeneous movement of open participation and direct democracy. The third and final part, includes the chronology of the events and the most important documents produced by the Syntagma square peoples' assembly in Athens, during its existence.
