Η πλατεία σαν ζωντανός οργανισμός: Η επανοικιοποίηση της Αγοράς

This article is a testimony and self-reflection of the experience of the occupation of the Syntagma square in Athens, and of its evolution, during the summer of 2011. It provides ethnographic as well as political insights from a participants point of view, ranging from the molecular to the symbolic levels and from discourses and practices of linguistics to violence as they were debated in the squares' assemblies and other parallel processes. It's main argument is that through the act of occupation the square is recuperated and its role as an open democratic Agora (instead of a market-place - in Greek agora too) is reinstated.
