Abstract

Building on Gloria Wekker's idea that Dutch colonial history has deeply impacted society and notions of home, citizenship and belonging (Wekker 2015) this paper analyzes the 1930s travel text Werkelijkheid op Bali by Dutch travel journalist Mary Pos.
