Abstract
A single longitudinal mode parametric oscillator scanning over a range of at least 5 cm−1 is described. The linewidth is less than 300 Mhz. Single mode operation during the scan is maintained by locking the OPO output spectrum to an etalon. This scheme and some experimental results are presented.
