Abstract
Discussing and comparing the views of Charles Hodge ('rejection'), Abraham Kuyper and Herman Bavinck ('hesitation'), Benjamin B. Warfield ('acceptance'), Gerrit C. Berkouwer ('caution') and Hendrikus Berkhof ('incorporation'), we show that ever since its inception in 1859 there has not been a uniform response to Darwinian evolution in the Reformed theological tradition.
