Abstract
The book documents experiences and reflections of experts from the North and South in a variety of capacity development projects coordinated by the Centre for International Cooperation at VU University Amsterdam.
Many countries are grappling with the dual problems of widening access to university education in a more equitable way and of expansion of students, staff, facility and resources. Both have implications for the quality of higher education.
