Abstract
Digitalisation and the rise of social media, fragmentation and commercialization of science communication interfaces, the increasing sensational value of scientific information and science skepticism have fundamentally changed the way in which science communication practitioners experience and engage with their work. How can - and should - science communication practitioners respond to these challenges? In this document we showcase 6 virtues for reflective science communication practitioners, to navigate the current dynamic and complex science communication ecosystem.
