Abstract

This report details the calibration of the suitability functions that guide the allocation of built-up land and population in a new model, building upon the 2UP model. While awaiting a shared decision on a formal project acronym, this model has been referred to internally as 2BURP (“to Build Urban and Rural Projections”).
