Can physiology predict affect in daily life?

Research output: Contribution to ConferencePosterAcademic

Abstract

In the laboratory various studies have shown that autonomic nervous system (ANS) activity is related to emotional and mental stress responses. However, it is unclear how these results translate to daily life situation. These preliminary results show that it is possible to predict positive affect by heart rate, heart rate variability and electrodermal activity albeit effect are small.
