Abstract
By engaging with literary and philosophical texts, the current volume has pursued a dual aim. It provides a more nuanced understanding of resilience through the lenses of virtue ethics and character education, and promotes the use of narratives in the classroom to help students deliberate on the adversities that they may be facing.
