Abstract

The authors regret that the δ25Mg values of Mg-calcite precipitate reported in Table 2 for the group 2 experiments (sample FU12, FU48, FU60, FU98, FU105) are mis-labelled. While the data are identified as Mg-calcite precipitate, they are in fact values for the bulk solid as they contain Mg-bearing calcite seeds. The corrected values should be −1.86, −1.82, −1.84, −1.84, and −1.66 for samples FU12, FU48, FU60, FU98, FU105, respectively. No other results or figures were affected by this error. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
