Abstract

The focus of this programme was on the development of decision making tools based on cost benefit analysis under uncertainty, for analysing adaptation and mitigation options related to spatial planning in the Netherlands. The full programme focused on the methodological issues for cost benefit analysis (CBA) and multi-criteria analysis (MCA) in a spatially explicit and dynamic context, including ancillary benefits and the issue of how to allocate costs to various domains, if ancillary benefits exist
