Buildings As Material Banks (BAMB), a program funded by the European Commission (EC), is a milestone enabling the uplift of CE research in the building industry ( Benachio et al., 2020 ). CBAP, designed as part of this project, is a semi-automated indicator that uses the BIM data in an online platform. Users can upload files generated from the most common 3D modeling software. In case of a data gap, the platform is supported by online databases. Data is converted to BAMB, and human-readable data and comparisons are shown. The model calculates the reuse potential based on the material selection, design parameters, and host building life cycle. However, it is still in beta form and currently undergoing validation.
