Abstract

At the same time, housing in the Netherlands is not seen as a basis for overcoming social problems, but as something that is only recouped once those problems are overcome. Anthropologist and research fellow at NIAS Luisa T. Schneider addresses several misconceptions about houselessness and asks what factors prevent unconditional housing security.
